About the Role

This is a PRN (as-needed) position, and you will be required to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. As a Certified Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, preparing the operating room for surgery, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
  • Prepare the operating room for surgery, including setting up equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Document patient information and surgical procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Surgical Tech Certification
  • One year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
