Medical Receptionist

We at Apex Heart and Vascular are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist with exceptional telephone greeting skills. We are a premier cardiovascular institute. We are looking for someone who's a team-player, a go-getter, and flexible.
- Greet and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet and attend to patients in person at the front desk for check-in and check out
- Professionally assist family members of the patients, other staff members, visitors, vendors and providers.
- Schedule appointments for the patients.
- Able to perform accurate documentation of patient visits and has excellent database (spreadsheet) skills
- Has working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA rules.
- Able to pay meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Has excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
- Bilingual: Spanish required

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Passaic, NJ 07055: Relocate before starting work (required)
