**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The following are the functions essential to performing this job:

- 1. Propose course and plan detailed, relevant, progressive lesson plans to engage students.- 2. Provide course descriptions and learning objectives to the Program Manager.
- 3. Provide differentiated instruction to meet the various needs and levels of students.
- 4. Promote cooperation and mutual respect among students.
- 5. Provide master copies or lists for instructional materials in a complete and timely manner to allow preparation and distribution.
- 6. Provide timely notice if unable to attend class or scheduled meetings.
- 7. Submit class evaluations and other documents as directed by program staff.
- 8. Participate as required in student complaint process.
- 9. Support the stated mission, policies, and procedures for Frederick Community College.
- **Required Minimum Qualifications**:
1. Appropriate certifications, degrees and/or experience required to teach course offered
- 2. Previous experience teaching
- 3. Basic computer skills necessary for utilizing technology in the classroom
- **Desired Qualifications**:
1. Previous experience teaching personal enrichment classes
- 2. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 3. Ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace**Pool Number**
