**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Join the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Remediation and Correction functional area that cares for the identification, classification, and correction of customer impacts caused by business process or operational breaks within (CCB) Consumer and Community Banking. Within the this function, the team focuses on correcting the impacted accounts via recalculating and/or crediting finance charges, fees, and rewards balances; correcting/changing finance charge and fee structures; initiating customer communications.
As the Quantitative Analytics Associate in Remediation and Correction, you will be a key member of a larger team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Correction Analysts, and Testing Analysts accountable for the correction of customer account. The associate will perform end-to-end testing of the case requirements and analysis on code against those requirements and execution plans; while confirming correct usage of data sources, standard code, adherence to guidelines and regulations, and following best practice standards. The associate is expected to perform validation on cases resulting from difficult, complex, multi-layered, data intensive business problems.
**Job responsibilities**:
- Through either independent results based on requirements documents, or code validation, ensure accuracy of code and data as well as procedure and policies.
- Effectively communicate with Business Analyst/Developers and Project Managers on the issues identified
- Work under tight deadlines (sometimes 10 days or less)
- Development and maintenance of the overall code validation strategy for the Correction function
- Develop test plan, code validation procedures, processes, job aids, tools and approaches and effective communication of defects
- Perform code to business requirement validation
- Write queries and run frequencies to validate population and output files
- Ensure correct formatting and logic of all output files
- Actively engage in process adherence and improvement discussions
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:
- Requires either 5 plus years of experience in Requirements Testing/Quality Analyst or 3 plus years as a SQL or SAS Developer or related role
- Must have ability to understand complex SQL and SAS queries with short deadlines
- Read requirements and technical documents and recreate data
- Work multiple problems simultaneously
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical skills
- Detailed and quality oriented
- Team player with the ability to work independently
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**:
- Prefer querying skills in SAS, SQL and Snowflake/TERADATA environment
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm
This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
This is a Hybrid position which will require the incumbent to commute/work on site 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.
