**SUMMARY**:This **Quality Control Inspector **position isresponsible for insuring components and assemblies, both manufactured and purchased, meet specified quality requirements.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Reviews customer blueprint/contract documents by analyzing specifications, matching to internal drawings/work orders, identifying discrepancies and returning them to Engineering/Sales for re-drafting.
- Inspects products/assembled parts by reviewing product/part specifications, analyzing assembly, identifying problems and approving/rejecting products/parts.
- Prepares First Article and Final inspection reports, maintains measuring tools and product document files.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with small precision mechanical components.
- Must have experience in a machine shop environment
- Perform first piece, in process, and final inspection
- Knowledge of first article inspections
- Prepare inspection documentation for both acceptance and rejection of parts
- Good math skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently

Gear experience and CMM experience a plus

Starting at $27.00/hour
