The primary focus is to develop and maintain a vibrant, thriving, resident driven independent living community. The Resident Life Coordinator is an enthusiastic, creative, compassionate, and a dedicated individual who will partner with our residents to identify activities and culture initiatives that enrich their everyday lives. This position respectfully interacts with residents, family members, staff, visitors and maintains a positive customer service relationship while demonstrating integrity in all aspects of the job.
Essential Functions:
- Find creative ways to keep residents connected to one another, to the internal community, to their hobbies, interests and the outside community as well.
- Oversee the identification, scheduling and planning of on
- and off-campus residential life enrichment programs.
- Schedules social opportunities with input from residents for arts, crafts, music, drama, educational programs, etc.
- Availability for occasional evening and/or weekend events based on resident satisfaction and organizational need.
- 5. Lead and/or coordinate with professional instructors to teach fitness classes based on budget and/or resident interest.
- Supports community operations to ensure the highest levels of resident experience and satisfaction.
- Incorporates elements of spontaneity and looks for continuous opportunities to delight and surprise residents
- Encourages and promotes resident volunteerism, both internally and externally.
- Adheres to monthly budget and continually looks for ways to enhance the resident experience in terms of the quality of programs paid vendors deliver.
- Plans and implements special seasonal events.
- Keeps Clubhouse organized and welcoming.
