Admissions Coordinator

_**Admissions Coordinator, Pay DOE**_

Dual Diagnosis Drug and Alcohol detox/residential program is seeking to hire an individual to join our ethical and dedicated team. Ocean Hills Recovery provides a safe and comfortable environment for those seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction while maintaining a recovery-focused culture.

Primary Duties:

- Answers incoming phone calls, assesses the clients' needs, appropriateness for treatment, and payment method; makes appropriate referrals based on information provided by the caller
- Accurately informs the caller on services provided by the treatment center, answers questions, concerns, and meets with the client and their family at the time of admission
- Acts as a conduit between the client and the treatment center (medical, operations, and clinical department) from the first call to the time of admission.
- Reviews admission and financial contracts with the client and the financially responsible party and collects any initial payment due
- Completes scheduled on-call shifts during assigned weekends and evenings (rotating basis).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in drug/alcohol treatment
- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience
- Experience with the EMR system, KIPU

**Requirements**:

- Previous admissions or sales experience
- An ability to manage tasks throughout the day with mínimal supervision
- The integrity to ask for guidance and additional assistance when needed

- An ability to maintain communication with professionalism in conflictive situations.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- drug and alcohol treatment: 2 years (preferred)
- sales: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
