**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**. **Must be able to read and understand food tickets
- Cook menu items in collaboration with the all kitchen staff.
- Prepare menu items and plate them according to brand standard.
- Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, etc.
- Prepare, set-up, and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Answer, report and follow supervisor instructions
- Clean up station and take care proper disposal of food scraps
- Comply with any customer nutrition regulations
- Adhere to company sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Complete side work for station and shift.
- Close the kitchen correctly. Follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing stations and the kitchen.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
- Sweep and mop behind the line

**Skills**:

- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to Expo food, which includes, reading tickets, organizing customer orders, and delegating to ensure food is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Build all orders correctly for each ticket
- Comply with all food safety requirements such as checking and maintaining temperature, dating and labeling products, rotating products so that oldest is used first.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Cleaning and sanitation of work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, burners, ovens and refrigeration equipment.

**Physical Demand Requirements**:

- Frequent reaching above waist, chest and shoulder level as well as and reaching below waist level.
- Frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity of both hands (pushing, pulling, handling, gripping, fine finger controls, etc.).
- Frequent exposure to cold/ below freezing and high heat temperatures (walk-in refrigerator, freezers, and ovens)
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, squat, climb, carry and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bending, squatting, stooping for cleaning activities throughout the shift.
- Able to work in a hot, damp environment.
- Hazards include, but are not limited to: cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
- Frequent washing of hands.
- Able to stand for 8 hours on hard surface - walks and stands during entire shift.

- Adequate skills and experience to perform job duties
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Able to communicate with team members
- Able to read and understand recipes
- Able to understand and follow all policies and procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
