Supports and implements high quality youth programming for the Youth Development Department, specifically, the Teen REACH Program.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Leads daily activities for assigned Teen REACH program site. Ensures high quality programs and establishes new program activities. Expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
- Requests supplies as needed.
- Completes daily attendance tracking, as assigned.
- Ensures compliance with state and local regulations as they relate to program areas. Ensures that YMCA program standards are met and safety procedures followed.
- Participates in site specific monthly safety drills, gathers needed documentation and holds staff accountable for completion.
- Facilitates meal and snack distribution and becomes trained by the Northern Illinois Food Bank in food distribution for both the SFSP and CACFP feeding programs.
- Maintains proper records/department files.
- Assists with special events for parents. Assists in YMCA fund raising activities.
- Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
- Compiles program statistics as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Meets educational and experience qualifications as required by state grant.
- One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator or supervisor of child care programs.
- Required trainings within 30 days of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
