Personal Assistant
- Part-Time
Director of several Baltimore-area programs related to mindfulness and yoga is seeking a part-time Personal/Administrative Assistant for approximately 8 hours per week The Personal/Administrative Assistant will provide support on a wide-range of administrative tasks related to the development and implementation of various programs related to yoga and mindfulness in education. The assistant may also be asked to help with personal errands, as needed. The assistant will also set-up all after school programs. This is a one-year contractual position with the option to renew, if agreeable to both parties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain effective systems of program data management
- Conduct outreach to community based organizations partners
- Create/update program materials (program calendar, youth interest forms, etc.)
- Contribute to program planning
- Serve as main point of contact/liaison for various programs.
- Create schedules and coordinate logistics for meetings and trainings
- Support growth of yoga in early childhood education programs through developing and implementing a strategic outreach strategy
- Create and manage training program documents
- Manage curriculum development documents
- Develop calendars, as needed, for all educational programs
- Attend meetings, as needed, and take minutes
- Keep inventory of and purchase supplies for various programs
- Shop for personal and program events.
- Physical set-up for after school programs.

Skills required:

- Computer skills and knowledge of software, including Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing such as Dropbox
- Excellent communication skills -- written, verbal and listening
- Excellent organizational skills
- Background in education is helpful, as is interest and experience with yoga and mindfulness
- Experience with and innovative approach to project design is a plus
- Must be independent self-starter and flexible

References a must. Also, must have reliable transportation to attend meetings that the Director cannot attend and for other various tasks.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
