- Handle special billing and collection calls, assisting with accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries related to invoicing, purchase orders, payment portals, and other billing-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account information.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and ensure timely payment processing.
- Perform outbound calls to customers to follow up on services received and regarding outstanding customer account balances.

- Communicate empathetically with customers, building trust and handling objections within a conversational call flow.

Qualifications:
**As a **_Billing and Collections Specialist_** **at Connecticut Pest Elimination**, you must possess the following skills**/requirements**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to empathize with customers and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- Previous experience in billing, collections, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating payment portals and using billing software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a bonus.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- At least 2 years of proven customer service experience

- Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and working with a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
