This position for a three day/week office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

**Duties**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, chart treatment, write notes
- Manage patient records, including updating dental documentation and coding

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices
- Experience working with patients
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) system

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene, and managing patient records.

To be successful in this role, previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred. You should also have knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices to ensure accurate record keeping.

Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) system is required to manage patient records efficiently.
