Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at York Dental Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized patient care and attention to detail to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
  • Assist with documentation and record-keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Listen actively and empathetically to patient concerns, addressing them in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, providing education on treatment plans and oral health maintenance.
  • Oversee the setup and cleanup of operatory areas, including sterilization and maintenance of equipment.
  • Take radiographs/x-rays as needed to support patient care.
  • Collaborate with front desk and office staff as needed to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient office operations.
Requirements
  • State licensure and certification in dental hygiene.
  • CRP Certification - Radiography/x-ray certification per state guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Positive, collaborative, and supportive attitude towards patients and team members.
  • Compliance with state dental practice requirements, including X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training.
  • Understanding and adherence to HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009.
