RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Planning and conducting field research using quantitative and qualitative methods, such as literature review, on-site biophysical characterization, and rapid assessments.
- Assessing environmental and biodiversity impacts of large-scale development projects in the US and internationally.
- Design and implementation of management measures, preparation of plans and procedures to manage project’s risks and impacts (ESMP on environmental parameters such as air, water, noise, land use, soil etc.).
- Performing multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring high quality standards on project deliverables.
- Communicating with clients, ERM employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Occasionally participating in public consultations to conduct presentations with clients and the general public.
- Technical report writing.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or related discipline.
- Up to 5 years of experience, including willingness/interest in research.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of quantitative analysis tools and techniques related to environmental baseline studies and impact assessment.
- Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Ability to multi-task, maintains flexibility, and works independently with mínimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Demonstrated attributes to become a strong consultant - team player, eagerness to learn and grow, self-starter who takes initiative, versatile, and service-oriented mentality.
- Knowledge of international standards (IFC, Equator Principles) is advantageous.
- Spanish fluency both written and verbal is advantageous but not required.
- For the _Consultant, Environmental Impact _position, we anticipate the annual base pay of _$65,113 - $78, 278 USD_. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. _We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above_. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus._
