**Required Experience and Essential Job Functions**:
This position requires a professional who:

- Holds a bachelor’s degree or above.
- Supports and implements the philosophy of Catholic education.

**This Position**
- Receives immediate support from the Director of the Learning Enrichment Center and additional support from the Principal and the Assistant Principal

**Function Statement**

The Science Specialist shall provide all or some of the following as assigned by the Director of the Learning Enrichment Center.
- As a member of the Response to Intervention team, collaborate with teachers to ensure students’ individual learning needs are met in one-on-one tutoring sessions
- Collaborate with Science department to make recommendations regarding curriculum and instruction development and implementation
- Coordinate hall pass administration between study halls and Learning Enrichment Center
- Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility while working cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, and students
- Communicate frequently with the Learning Enrichment Center director to provide feedback and trouble-shoot
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required**:
5 years as a Science teacher, expert in Science instruction and curriculum development

**Working Conditions**
- Work is executed in an office space with pleasant working conditions. This position is part time (30 hrs. a week).

- May be required to exert physical effort of a limited nature as needed for events.
