**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Contact individuals and businesses to collect outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Follow legal requirements and company policies when pursuing collections
- Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive financial matters
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Conduct account analysis to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for collection
- Utilize financial concepts and account reconciliation skills to effectively manage accounts receivable

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medical collection processes and terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 is beneficial
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets
- Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping
