As the Rental Manager and Title Clerk at Consumers Auto Warehouse, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of rental contracts, vehicle inspections, titling processes, and DMV interactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout.

**Responsibilities**:

- Completes rental contracts, explains rental policies and procedures, up-sells vehicles and optional extras to the customer according to their needs, verifies credit card, car insurance, and obtains customer signature and deposit.
- Completes and documents thorough checks for each automobile during check out and upon return for damage and records mileage and fuel level reading. Communicates any damage to service department.
- Ensures accuracy/timeliness of all contracts, payments, deposits and refunds.
- Manages rental fleet, inspections, license plates and insurance.
- Processing all titling documents through electronic vehicle registration programs and/or DMV offices.
- Prepare legal transfer documents to submit to the DMV.
- Examine vehicle title for accuracy by confirming accurate title VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens, etc.
- Actively resolves titling issues through interaction with the dealership team.
- Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which vehicles are processed.
- Regularly perform title and tag audits.
- Reach out to and communicate with customers when DMV issues arise and when tags are complete.

Desired requirements and qualifications:

- Automotive Dealership experience preferred
- Basic Google Workspace knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
- Dealertrack DMS experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of meeting time deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a team player with integrity and strong work ethic who exemplifies our core values daily
- Good driving record

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
