**Job Description** AECOM **is seeking an** Inspector** to be based in **Austin, Texas**.***

Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing or leading inspection duties. Performs or leads field inspections and/or audit duties and maintains inspection records. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.

**Job duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Under mínimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
- Provides on the job training to new employees.
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
- Performs or oversees daily field inspections and maintenance of inspection records.
- Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
- Tracks quality assurance progress.
- Provides oversight on documentation quality.
- Working specifically on TxDOT projects will provide inspection services

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- HS + 8 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Driver License required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of relevant TxDOT construction inspection experience including performing as lead inspector.
- TxDOT Site Manager or AASHTOWare Project software experience
- TxDOT Precertification 11.3.1- Construction Superintendent
- TxAPA Level 1B certification
- ACI Grade 1 and strength test certification
- Certification in Work Zone Traffic Control Training
- Certifications in TxDOT Environmental Management System (EMS)
