The Outreach Manager is responsible for implementing a strategic marketing & outreach plan to build relationships with mental health facilities, providers, hospitals, health systems, and other mental health stakeholders. This individual, along with the Executive Director and Director of Operations & Admissions, will be responsible for stewarding new and existing relationships to deepen the impact and reach of the Spring Lake Ranch mission and work towards long-term sustainability of increased census through a robust referral network. **MUST LIVE WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF MAJOR NORTHEASTERN CITIES.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Marketing & Outreach**
- Implement the strategic marketing plan, in collaboration with the Executive Director and Director of Operations & Admissions, in service of organizational objectives including:

- Increase in number of web-based referrals.
- Increase in referrals from private-practice mental health providers.
- Increase in number and quality of family and patient inquiries.
- Plan and organize presence at events, conferences, and referral programs.
- Frequent overnight travel to such events, conferences, and referral programs.
- Attend and conduct presentations at events, conferences, and referral programs to raise awareness about the SLR program.
- Develop and strengthen external relationships to increase knowledge of the Ranch with the objective of increasing appropriate admission inquiries.
- Plan and organize on-site visits to Spring Lake Ranch for referral sources and other stakeholders.
- Track emerging markets and trends in residential treatment and related fields.
- Perform periodic state, regional, and national scans to identify organizations, health systems or agencies to focus marketing efforts aimed at expanding SLR’s referral base.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Development Manager on creation of key content (digital, video, audio, and print) for SLR program promotion with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Communications and Development Manager to implement an online and small media marketing strategy.
- Identify advertising opportunities, including sponsorship of events/conferences.
- Maintain a tracking system to deliver timely reports on the impact of marketing activities.
- Maintain a database of referral contacts using DonorPerfect.
- Position is a hybrid position with a minimum of quarterly in-person team meetings at the Spring Lake Ranch Cuttingsville, VT location.

**Administrative**
- Monitor budget for marketing materials, advertising, travel, and outreach activities.
- Coordinate external relations and outreach efforts across departments to maximize reach.

**COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to the SLR Mission, Vision and Core Values.
- Maintain respectful, therapeutic, and supportive relationships with Spring Lake Ranch residents and clients at all times.
- Maintain resident/client privacy by keeping personal information confidential in accordance with federal HIPAA legislation and Spring Lake Ranch policies and procedures.
- Other duties as requested.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Independent team player with a passion for working as part of a unique, mission-driven non-profit in the mental health field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications required. Consideration for those with degrees in mental health related fields who also have marketing experience.
- At least two years of experience with demonstrated success achieving goals’ preferably with experience in mental health/healthcare.
- Strong analytical skills with proven success executing business development plans and marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to easily build rapport with a wide variety of professionals.
- Ability to create dynamic presentations and effectively deliver them to clinical and non-clinical professionals.
- Proficient in using presentation software and CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Ability and willingness to travel weekly for meetings with prospective and existing referrers.
- Must have driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable mode of transportation.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
