Girls on the Run is an after-school programs that inspire all girls (3rd through 5th grade) to build their confidence, kindness, and decision making skills. Girls on the Run provides a safe an interactive way to learn about healthy living including introductions and education on important topics like goal-setting, cooperation, healthy decision-making and self-respect. The innovative curriculum gives girls an opportunity to listen and open up while encouraging them to commit to a healthy lifestyle and harness their inner strengths.

**Who We Serve**:
Girls on the Run Greater Kalamazoo serves more than 1,000 girls across Kalamazoo and Allegan counties, Mattawan (Van Buren County) and Athens Area Schools (Calhoun County). Historically we have served more than 33,000 girls since 2002.

**What You Will Do**:
Girls on the Run Greater Kalamazoo is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator (24 hours a week) who possesses a passion for and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of girls in third through fifth grades. You will work in collaboration with other members of the Program Team to oversee the planning, implementation, support, and evaluation of Girls on the Run programs. You will be responsible for the coordination of program sites, program participant registration, and program supply preparation and management. Additionally you may provide support for program coach recruiting, training and provide customer service to families, volunteers, and school personnel.

- **Program Management**
- Manage program registration process.o Oversee parent/caregiver evaluation/surveys.o Manage participant financial assistance policies and procedures.o Coordinate participant registration process and management of data.
- Create, update, and run reports as needed within our CRM system known as Pinwheel.
- Manage family related communications
- Coordinate work of volunteers as needed to support you in preparation and distribution of team supplies.
- **Program Outreach and Site Management**
- **Coach Management and Training**
- Attend National T3 training.o Co-facilitate coach recruitment and retention strategies that result in qualified volunteers that mirror the demographics of our community and girls served.o Support coach volunteers and design appreciation initiatives.o Assist with coordination of sub coaches for teams in need.o Assist with support of coaches at high needs sites.
- **Curriculum/Equipment Management**
- Oversee creation, distribution, and collection of program materials (team bags). o Manage inventory with office manager and distribution of coach and program curriculum, materials, and supplies. o Oversee purchase and distribution of 5K supplies. o Assist with coach’s kits, including purchasing supplies, assembling and distribution.
- **Budget and Administrative**
- Set up and manage program events and site pages in Pinwheel (customer relations system).o Ensure the timely and accurate collection of program data; oversee the information management of rosters, girls, numbers and program revenue.o Assist Executive Director with developing budget and tracking program expenses.
- **Organizational Support**
- Collaborate with staff to communicate program impact.o Play a key role at the spring end-of-season 5K event.o Attend community events on behalf of the organization to raise awareness of the organization or in support of a community partnership.
**Qualifications**
