**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, depending on experience, skills and credentials.

Typical Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm. There will be some variation in hours based on company needs (e.g.: occasional 6am meetings).

**HR Generalist Expectations**
- This is a new position at Fania Roofing and you'll work hand-in-hand with leadership to craft winning HR and recruiting strategies.
- You will juggle multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities as the HR Generalist for Fania Roofing.
- We will look to you to streamline the hiring process and implement recruitment strategies.
- As a fast growing company, we have an ongoing need to hire roofers
- you will be responsible for sourcing and hiring field labor and other positions to meet our growth goals.
- You will collaborate with the Management Team to set and achieve strategic initiatives.
- It will be your responsibility to maintain employee files and handle new hire essentials.
- We expect you to support our Safety Program by tracking certifications, monitoring re-certifications, and promptly notifying managers of upcoming expiration dates.
- You will be involved in and actively contribute to leadership development initiatives.
- You will ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws as well as Fania’s HR policies and procedures.
- When challenges arise, maintain a positive attitude and a calm demeanor as you work towards a solution.

**HR Generalist Skills & Experience**
- 2+ years’ HR Generalist experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar is preferred
- Recruiting and/or Hiring experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using Payroll systems and/or HRIS
- SHRM-CP or similar certification is preferred
- Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus
