In executing the responsibilities of the CoS, the incumbent will foster close collaboration with the executive leadership team, delivering strategic support, overseeing operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a profound understanding of the USSF, Space Systems Command, and Space Training and Readiness Command. Exceptional leadership skills are essential, coupled with the ability to drive initiatives that align seamlessly with the mission objectives of the OTTI PEO.

The CoS holds a pivotal role critical to the success of the OTTI PEO, contributing through effective leadership, strategic guidance, and the optimization of operational efficiency. Job Requirements:
**Skills / Experience Required**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with DoD work experience
- Collaborate closely with OTTI PEO executives to conceptualize and implement strategic initiatives that seamlessly align with the mission
- Steer day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the strategic objectives of OTTI PEO
- Implement industry best practices to optimize internal processes and workflows
- Serve as the primary liaison between the executive team and diverse departments within the OTTI PEO staff
- Facilitate clear and effective communication to guarantee the seamless execution of projects and initiatives
- Manage key projects, ensuring timely delivery within the defined scope - Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration to ensure project success
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, instilling a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, clients, and industry stakeholders
- Handle sensitive and classified information with the utmost discretion
- Identify and address potential risks to the organization, demonstrating a proactive approach
- Capable of conveying complex information in a clear and straightforward manner
- Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Thrive as a strong self-starter, requiring mínimal supervision
- Demonstrate a natural inclination for proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reacting after the fact
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
- Education / Certifications
- BS/BA - required
- MS/MA/ME - preferred
- Relevant work experience/training may be considered in lieu of a degree
