Responsibilities include:

- Perform reconciliation functions pertaining to the cash account, general ledger accounts, and various revenue and expenditure items and accounts.
- Complete all bank reconciliations.
- Maintain journals, ledgers, and other accounting records.
- Manage financials for State and Federal grants, which includes submitting grant claims.
- Post journal entries received from Schools, Food service, Park & Recreation, and Departments. Post payroll and accounting adjustments as necessary.
- Support the Director of Business Services in the building and entry of the District budget.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Maintain Fixed Asset/inventory procedures.
- Oversee and prepare for the district’s financial audits.
- Manage outstanding student fees and send collection letters.
- Prepare invoices for any billed services.
- Serve as back-up to Accounts Payable.
- Prepare quarterly sales tax reports.
- Review and approve purchase orders per budget allocations.
- Update user security in the financial software for onboarding and offboarding.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Services.
