**JOB SUMMARY**

Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of the clinic manager and physician. Responsible for assisting all clinical providers as needed in the clinical setting while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Rooms all patients according to the specifications of the clinic and provider
- Prepares charts for all clinical patients.
- Performs in-take of all required patient vital signs and clinical information with proper documentation.
- Assists with queuing and preparing prescriptions refills for provider approval.
- Entering patient orders per provider and sends them out for patients to complete.
- Enters all required information into the EHR system according to company protocol.
- Completes checklists and related paperwork as required for patient care.
- Assists with Pain management procedures in office and in procedure room if needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Diploma of completion from accredited/approved Medical Assistant program; or completion of an unapproved medical assistant training program and passage of the medical assistant examination administered by either the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Medical Technologists
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must have access to reliable transportation and willing to travel to multiple locations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
- COVID vaccination not required
- Proficient in the use of EHR systems; We use E-ClinicalWorks (ECW)

**Abilities**
- Ability to adhere to strict attendance and punctuality polices
- Ability to travel to different office locations following a provider (Mesa, Queen Creek, Baseline, Tempe, and Gilbert)
- Ability to work both independently, as well as collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to provide excellent patient care, deal with difficult patients and work effectively under pressure to ensure a positive patient experience
- Ability to quickly and accurately take dictation and document other’s notes in real-time
- Ability to attend to details

**Preferences**
- Bilingual
- Pain management experience

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
