The Product Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a product line portfolio, focused on driving sustainable and profitable growth for the overall business. As a Product Manager, you will have ownership of a specific area of the business and will see the impact of your work on our company's growth. The Product Manager is tasked with learning, understanding, and managing all products within the specifically designated product portfolio and will lead the daily management and administration of the assigned lines within a specific category and/or vendor base. The Product Manager will have thorough knowledge of the products and vendors and will be a key contact point for the sales force and customer service team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Vendor Management**
- Manage relationships with key vendors within the cocoa and chocolate product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with Batory Foods’ vendors, understanding product characteristics and identifying growth opportunities.
- Conduct negotiations and manage pricing and contracts with suppliers.
- Attend vendor training sessions to stay informed about market functions and trends.

**Revenue Management**
- Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) of the product portfolio.
- Develop pricing strategies and manage margins to drive profitability.
- Optimize supply chains to enhance efficiency and reduce inventory age.
- Analyze market pricing and develop cost models for effective quoting.

**Business Development**
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify market segments and combat competition.
- Support sales and marketing strategies directed by Batory Foods Leadership Team.
- Travel as needed for industry events, customer visits, and vendor meetings.

**Strategic** **Planning**
- Define and execute product line strategies aligned with global/regional objectives.
- Lead development and communication of product line strategy vision.
- Conduct analysis and gather competitor intelligence to inform ongoing platform management.
- Support and help implement the strategies defined by the Batory Leadership Team.

**Personal Qualifications**:

- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Self-starter with strong project and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and influence others in a team-oriented environment.

**Education and Formal Training**:

- A Bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance, economics or supply chain, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- Five years progressive work experience in a business environment with at least three years in food ingredients or food manufacturing.
- Experience in a product management or purchasing environment with exposure to sales, vendors, logistics and customer service.
