**Responsibilities**

Independently manages multiple medium or single institution-scale IT projects from inception to close including project definition, scope development, scheduling, resource management, risk identification and mitigation, budget and cost tracking, quality assurance, testing and change control. Contributes to the improvement of established project guidelines, tools, checklists, templates and methodologies. Ensures communication between and among business proponents and stakeholders, the project team and IT management regarding the project. Communication is complete, timely, accurate and understandable by all parties. Liaison to communicate needs from GI Foundation stakeholders to IT colleagues in development and enhancement of the Endoscopy Management System. Very knowledgeable of work unit activities and has broad general knowledge of information technology and institution activities. Tracks and communicates project progress to project stakeholders and Endoscopy Management System Steering Committee and GI Executive leadership. Demonstrates effective use of group facilitation, team building and conflict resolution tools and processes to achieve a motivated and positive team atmosphere. Accountable to manage project within approved scope, schedule, resources and quality baseline. Is self-directed a majority of the time receiving occasional guidance from operations manager. Works independently to manage multiple medium or single institutional-scale IT projects with full accountability for project results. Work is periodically evaluated for long term goal attainment.
