Social Media/marketing Coordinator

Main focus is on social media content for Stubborn Brothers Brewery Facebook and Instagram pages. In charge of creating and implementing content for each day of the week for all service areas (brewery, restaurant, event space). Posts cover major B2C functions in fun, friendly tones. B2C functions include: promoting or showcasing events, menu items, drinks, merchandise releases, daily specials and trendy market content.

Other job duties include:

- General marketing duties in other non-social media related advertisements
- Event Coordinating: planning both on and off-site events and ensuring that the prep and post evaluation of these events goes smoothly. Key Details include: researching and planning on-site events the public will enjoy, scheduling staff to work on and off-site events, creating marketing materials for events, creating Facebook event pages, and updating website event calendar
- Assisting and working with our graphic designer in product and merchandise production using market research and running a monthly focus group to bring products to market when and where the consumers want it.
- Updating and designing drink and food menus as well as updating the digital menus on our website and beer menus on Untappd; making sure all staff is aware of changes.
- Creating sheets to aid in management of alcohol inventory. This aspect goes hand-in-hand with updating drink menus as we rotate through products, so making sure we have inventory on hand for menu changes.
- Meeting with head server and bartender to make Front of House duties sheets and opening and closing checklists. Creating training videos for new staff.
- Updating the bar stocking list and our POS system as we move products through
- Making sure our website for both brewery and event space are up to date with: event calendars, store and bar locator map (which helps consumers find our beer near them), digital menus and photos that are on site.
- Assitance with general day-to-day tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Degree in Marketing/Media or related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Suites, Hootsuite, Canva, Google Sheets, Google Doc, Google Forms, Google Calendar, Wix and Squarespace website builders
- Product photography, videography and editing in both aspects, as well as writing social media captions and product descriptions.
- General knowledge in technology for lighting, audio, camera and visual equipment set up

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
