Manufacturing Trainer 3rd Shift

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Floor Trainer to join our team. The Manufacturing Floor Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing team members possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to excel in their roles on the production floor. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-the-job training for manufacturing employees, including machine operation, assembly techniques, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.
- Provide coaching and guidance to new hires and existing employees to help them develop the skills and confidence needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and best practices through practical demonstrations and simulations, ensuring that trainees understand and can replicate key processes.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and departmental managers to identify training needs and develop customized training plans to address skill gaps and performance issues.
- Monitor trainee progress and performance through regular assessments and evaluations, providing constructive feedback and additional support as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standardized work instructions, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and visual aids to support training efforts and ensure consistency across shifts and teams.
- Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all employees.
- Document training activities, attendance records, and performance evaluations to track progress and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance quality on the production floor.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Proven experience in training and development, particularly in a hands-on, on-the-job training capacity.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
