Full Charge Bookkeeper/accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/ Accountant with expertise in hospitality and property accounting to join our team on a full time basis.
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain and reconcile financial records for hospitality and property-related transactions.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment verification, and collections.
Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales tax, occupancy tax, and property tax.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for hospitality and property-related operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as property managers and department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to hospitality and property accounting.
Proficient in accounting software, Google Suite and MS Office Suite
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: $24.05 - $28.96 per hour
