Flow Control, Inc. is a regionally dominant distributor of industrial valves and automation products and is seeking to fill a full time Inside Sales position at our location in Sewell NJ.

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
- Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, purchase orders or returns
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities
- Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
- Remain current on product changes and developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and reading trade journals
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the Team
- Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Present a professional image at all times.
- **Requirements**:_
- 3+ years of direct or related experience in a similar role.
- High School Diploma
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
- Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally.
- Fast learner.
- General computer skills
- Positive work environment
- Problem solving, listening and leadership skills
- Be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere.

Flow Control is committed to provide a safe working environment therefore a pre-employment testing and drug screening is required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
