**Dental Assistant (Full-time)**

**What You Will Do**
- Welcome/greet patients
- Assist Dr. chairside in various procedures (Dr. is a prosthodontist and offers both general and cosmetic dental services)
- Perform lab tasks as instructed
- Discuss treatment needs with patients
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Document each patient visit and maintain accurate patient records
- Set up and prepare rooms for patients
- Turnover and clean rooms between patient appointments
- Sterilize instruments, keep supplies well-stocked and help the hygienists stay on schedule

**Requirements**:

- Prior dental assisting experience
- Great communication skills with confidence to discuss treatment and address patient needs and concerns
- Attention to detail
- Organized and reliable
- Ability to multi-task, having the foresight to determine priorities and what needs to be done throughout the day without being directed
- Individual who has a genuine love and excitement for the dental field

**Typical Schedule**
- Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays & Fridays: 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
