**Duties**:

- You will assist with safety inspections for all manner of weight handling equipment.
- You will assist in the normal daily preventive maintenance to the crane; operate that portion of the crane which carries the upper works and boom when necessary to move the crane from one place to another.
- You will perform and direct placement, removal, or repositioning of machinery, structural members of buildings, heavy equipment, bleachers, Quonset huts, boilers or other loads, frequently working with other mechanics.
- You will plan weight distribution and load maneuvering; braces, cushions and otherwise prepares load and attached appropriate lifting gear.
- You will manufacture, in the rigging lot, various slings and lifting attachments.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- IS SUBJECT TO RECALL 24 HRS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.
