We have an exciting opportunity for a Department Specialist to work within our Treasury team, located in San Diego (Torrey Pines), CA.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides administrative support to the Vice President and Treasurer.
- Assists Treasury, Risk Management, and Travel functions with reports, analysis, projects, and certain functions such as but not limited to; card administration, bank documentation, know your customer, check signing, and petty cash management.
- Maintains, develops, and updates a variety of electronic and/or hard copy reports and records which may be confidential and sensitive in nature for a variety of parties, which may require independent interaction with management, customers, vendors, or agencies.
- Provides support in responding to diligence questions for the purpose of bank and insurance requests.
- Manages event planning for the department including bank meetings, insurance meetings, VIP tours of specific GA sites, and internal meetings.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings, including meeting room reservation, audio visual equipment, presentation materials, visitor registration and badges, and food/beverage service.
- Coordinates travel arrangements and completes travel and expense reports.
- Provides assistance and back-up support to the Executive Assistant/CFO’s office as needed, including phone coverage and calendar management.
- Tracks document routing and approval process (such as EWM and goldenrod proposals).
- Coordinates office supplies and supports treasury team in obtaining specific supplies as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six or more years experience in a field related to the specialized functional area or unit where assigned.
