Open Arms Assisted Living is a rapidly growing assisted living community that provides residential support to Racine and Kenosha County. We are actively seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator.

The Administrator/Quality Assurance role will work side by side with a team of Administrators, House Managers and direct care staff while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure that care plans are implemented effectively and maintaining a high standard of care and experience for clients. The role will also establish a positive working relationship with regulatory agencies, family members, and community advocates.

Essential job duties include but not limited to:

Quality Assurance_**
- Conduct routine reviews and audits of services being provided to ensure highest quality compliance
- Maintain current knowledge of State Regulations (DHS 83 & 88) and ensure compliance in all surveys conducted by licensing authority
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, such as audits, surveys, and quality improvement projects.
- Monitors and provides feedback for accurate and up-to-date records for members including State required documents, Individual Service Plans, client care activities, daily documentation logs, incident reports, and medication administration records.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members through written reports and verbal updates.

**_ Resident Care_**
- Ensure training programs are in place and working properly
- Coaches Administrators and Managers with clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to appropriate parties.

**_ Community Management_**
- Work with the leadership team in planning all aspects of operations, including priority setting and job assignments
- Ensure safety of residents, visitors, and staff regarding Infection Control, Fire and Safety policies and procedures

**_ Supervisory_**
- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to the Administration Team
- Demonstrate independent judgment and discretion
- Communicate and enforce policies and procedures and directly discipline and/or effectively recommend corrective and disciplinary action to enforce such policies
- Evaluate performance and effectively make changes to terms and conditions of employment based on such evaluations; coach and discipline staff as necessary

This role is a salary exempt position at the starting rate of **$65,000.00 per year** with the following incentives:

Qualifications and Education Requirements_**
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Four years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Must possess basic computer knowledge and ability to use specified programs
- Experience with financial reporting, record keeping, and managing multiple budgets
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public in a positive manner
- Must meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations (i.e. TB)
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must pass criminal background check

**_Other Skills and Requirements_**
- This position is salaried, and may include schedules which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
- Ability to work full-time, with some evening and/or weekend work
- Availability by phone or pager 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
