We are looking for motivated _**Seasonal Movers and Packers**_to join the Interstate team These temporary full-time positions assist our operations team with loading/unloading vehicles containing household goods, office furniture, or other goods in a safe and careful manner.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

**MOVING SPECIALIST**
- The mover will assist with the inspections of our assigned truck(s) to note any damages, flat/worn tires, fluid levels, and general ability to travel. The mover also assists with the preparation of vehicles to ensure all materials are loaded and any defects or problems are noted.
- Must be able to work full-time and have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

**PACKING SPECIALIST**
- Inspects the assigned pack van for damages, flat or worn tires, check fluid levels, and confirm general travel worthiness.
- Prepares the vehicle before leaving the warehouse, ensuring that all materials for the assigned job are loaded and ready for use.
- Operate the pack van and transport pack crew to and from work sites.
- Writes complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office furniture or other goods when required.
- Cleans packaging containers.
- Lines and pads crate and assembles cartons.
- Wraps protective material around household goods.
- Inserts goods into containers.
- Weighs containers and adjusts quantity.
- Closes and seals containers. Labels containers, container tags, and products.
- Sorts bundles or filled containers.
- Packs special arrangements or selections of household items.
- Inspects materials, items, and containers at each step of packaging process.
- Records information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
- Safely lifts, packs, loads and unloads the vehicle as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**.
- Ability to pass a background check & Drug Test.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
