**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn for Austin Detours, San Antonio Detours, and DFW Detours.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (images, videos, stories, and posts) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
- Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a vibrant online community.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
- Work with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and brand awareness.
- Coordinate with the team to produce high-quality multimedia content.
- Be available onsite for certain projects and events as needed.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn, including their algorithms and best practices.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to analyze metrics and create detailed reports.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for storytelling and engaging online communities.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the travel or events industry.

Compensation and Work Hours:

- Part-time position, 20-25 hours per week.
- $25 per hour.
- Must be available to work onsite for some projects but primarily remote.
- Must be based in Austin, TX.
