Event Assistant

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and reliable Event Setup Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by handling deliveries, staging and setting up event rentals & equipment and pick ups after event ends. You will work closely with our event coordinators and clients to ensure their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
**Duties**:
- Assist with event setup, including arranging and displaying flower walls, backdrop Panels, Floral arch decorations, and event rental equipment
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after the event
- Must have a car, must drive company vehicle
**Responsibilities**:
1. Delivery and Pickup**: Transport event rental equipment to and from event venues promptly and safely.
2. Setup and Teardown**: Assist with the setup and teardown of event equipment, including tables, chairs, linens, décor items, and audiovisual equipment.
3. Quality Control**: Ensure that all delivered equipment is in excellent condition and meets client specifications. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning as needed.
4. Client Interaction**: Provide friendly and professional service to clients during equipment deliveries and pickups. Address any concerns or questions they may have in a timely and courteous manner.
5. Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of equipment deliveries, setup details, and pickups. Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members.
6. Logistics Coordination**: Coordinate delivery schedules with event coordinators and clients to ensure timely setup and pickup. Communicate any changes or delays promptly.
7. Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other event staff members to ensure efficient workflow and successful event execution.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Pay: $19.37 - $20.92 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 16 per week
