**Shifts**:
- This program operates Monday-Friday with occasional night and weekend events and trainings throughout the year.
- On school days, the typical schedule is 10:00am-6:00pm*
- Twice a week the Director works a split shift, 7:00am-9:00am and 12:00pm-6:00pm. The Director has the flexibility to determine which two days of the week they will work a split shift.
During the school breaks, (such as summer), the Y operates as a day camp, with the typical schedule being Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Twenty-one years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Education**:Option 1**: Twelve (12) semester units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education and/or Child & Adolescent Development. **Option 2**: Three (3) semester units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education and/or Child & a Adolescent Development **plus an additional nine (9)** semester units in any combination of the following: Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Child & Adolescent Development, Psychology, Sociology, Elementary Education, Recreation, Arts, Theater, Home Economics, Counseling, Humanities, Human Services, Health, Nutrition, Nursing, Physical Education and/or Kinesiology, **Option 3**: Associate or Bachelor degree with at least three (3) units in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education and/or Child & Adolescent Development.
- Three (3) semester units in Administration, Supervision or Staff Relations, or willing to enroll and complete the units at an accredit college (online or on-campus) within six (6) months of hire.
- Four years' experience supervising group child care center. Previous experience working with school age children in a group setting (preferred).
- Proof of vaccination or immunization for pertussis (TDAP), and measles (MMR) or willing to complete prior to your first day.
