**DESCRIPTION**

The Accounts Payable TEMP position is a temporary position and reports to the Director of Finance. You will perform the basic functions of the AchieveKids accounts payble process, and support with some accounting functions. In addition, this position may assist in weekly and monthly accounting operations. This position is for a one month contract (with the potential to extend to three months or a permanent hire).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform all assigned Accounts Payable activity
- Track billing and collection to support Accounts Receivable
- Assist in preparation of various contracts: master contract, Individual Service Agreements (ISA), or others
- Assist full-charge bookkeeper at fiscal year-end, including contact preparation, year-end filing and financial audit preparation

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Associates degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting and 3-5 years of payroll experience
- Experience with QuickBooks, ADP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Ability to plan ahead, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality to all information and strictly adhere to the confidentiality policy
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Criminal record background clearance
- TB clearance
