Community Engagement Manager

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities & Duties**
Awareness Campaign & Organization Onboarding
- Establish initial relationships with, and support the onboarding of, a large number of nonprofit and other community organizations in a designated region in Pennsylvania.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide professional service delivery by ensuring effective communication and responsiveness to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and align community engagement initiatives with their objectives.
- Manage client and project communication, working collaboratively with varying team members and Community Action Association of Pennsylvania stakeholders.
- Communicate in one voice, aligned with the scope of work of the project and with respect to the additive value of the project.
Training and Capacity Building:
- Develop and conduct training programs for community partners to enhance their ability to actively participate in social care initiatives.
- Support organizations when issues arise, including technical needs, responding in a timely manner, and working with cross-functional teams to document problem resolution steps and implement solutions
Event Planning and Execution:
- Organize and coordinate local community events, workshops, and programs to foster connection and engagement.
- Manage logistics, promotion, and participant involvement to ensure successful events.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to assess the impact of community engagement initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations for program improvement.
**Skills**:
- At least 5 years experience: managing outcome -driven client relationships or professional services engagements and/or; working within a nonprofit, other community organization, or government; preferably in development or program leadership (e.g. built or grew a new program, owned complex or nebulous initiative(s))
- Local knowledge, expertise and network. This role is a remote position, but we are looking for individuals who are based in and throughout Pennsylvania and can bring a local lens to the role.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Experience with adult learning techniques and best practices; software training experience a plus
- Superior communications skills (presentation, written, and verbal) and demonstrated ability to communicate/present effectively at all levels of the organization including the C-suite
- Service-oriented, resilient, enthusiastic, and positive
- Ability to independently prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Skilled at problem-solving, decision making, negotiations, and ability to navigate challenging situations in a professional manner
- Interest in social determinants, organizational innovation, social enterprise, healthcare, community organizations, governmental groups
- Ability to travel to some customer locations, largely within the state of Pennsylvania
**Location**
- The role is predominantly remote with the main office of the organization located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- Community Engagement Managers will be assigned a regional role with travel within that region and with the occasional travel to Central Pennsylvania.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
