We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient estimation of project costs and timelines.

**Job Summary**:
The Estimator is responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting material and labor assessments, and providing accurate cost and timeline estimates for construction projects. This role plays a vital part in securing projects and ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Project Analysis**:

- Review project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents.
- Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and timelines.
- Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the project.

2. **Cost Estimation**:

- Calculate material and labor costs for each project.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including the costs of construction materials, equipment, and labor.
- Consider market pricing and trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

3. **Bid Preparation**:

- Create comprehensive bid proposals for potential projects.
- Present cost estimates and proposals to clients and management.
- Ensure proposals are well-organized and professionally written.

4. **Resource Management**:

- Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to obtain accurate material and equipment pricing.
- Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information.
- Maintain a database of current and reliable vendors and subcontractors.

5. **Project Timelines**:

- Estimate project timelines based on the scope of work and available resources.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines align with project requirements.

6. **Cost Monitoring**:

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase.
- Provide ongoing cost assessments and analysis to track project profitability.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or landscaping industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
