Legal Investigator

Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw
- Write reports, memos, and other legal documents
- File and maintain legal documents in an organized manner
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with contract drafting and review
- Transcribe interviews, statements, and other recorded materials
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
- Utilize document management systems to organize and retrieve information

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a legal or investigative role is highly desirable
- Proficient in legal research methods and the use of Westlaw
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Familiarity with document management systems is a plus

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
