**About the Role**

**Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI)** is looking for a **Project Scheduler **to join our Project Controls Team in our New York Office We are a leading engineering firm known for quality and excellent service with a proven track record of success as a **Prime** civil engineering firm. As a **Project Scheduler,** you will support multiple projects with the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Capital Program. This position is based on the LIRR Hillside Facility in Hollis, New York. Develop and issue detailed integrated Critical Path Method (“CPM”) schedules based upon Project documents and you will also create Work Breakdown Schedules (“WBS”) to subdivide the

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop the logic or sequence of the work Identifying the predecessor and successor relationships between activities.
- Load the project resources and cost into the integrated project schedules.
- Develop and assign standardized codes for activities and projects based on relevant attributes like type of project, location, discipline, track outage, responsibilities, and other attributes applicable for grouping and sorting.
- Prepare, update, and distribute monthly progress reports to share monthly bar charts, histograms, look ahead schedules, Completed and In-progress, Earned Value Reports, S-Curves, comparison reports, variance reports, and trend analysis reports with baseline schedules.
- Identify and analyze critical paths and activities to ascertain whether project completion is on time and on budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.
- Analyze and develop revised project CPM schedules based on status of goals, production, scope changes, budget, material, and resource availability as required to initiate corrective actions and pro-actively manage the deployment of budgeted resources.
- Visit job sites to collect monthly updates.
- Attend field meetings during schedule development and throughout the construction period.

**To Be Successful**
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in construction scheduling using Primavera P6 software in project controls.
- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management time-impact analysis, delay claims, and change orders analysis.
- Experience working with MTA agencies and railroad projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Ability to create simple and complex analytical reports of schedule
- Power Business Intelligence (“BI”) experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience comprehending drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Understanding of construction and construction means and methods.
- Certification by Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (“AACE”) in planning and scheduling, or Project Management Professional (“PMP”) Certification preferred.
