**Company Overview**:
We are a leading residential treatment center dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorder and mental health disorders. With multiple locations across the valley, we are committed to expanding our reach and enhancing our team to better serve our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Director to oversee our HR department and compliance and support our growing team.

**Position Overview**:
As the HR Director, you will be responsible for managing the HR department across five locations, overseeing a team of approximately 50 employees with anticipated growth to 75-100 employees within the next year. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Arizona Department of Health HR guidelines for employee files, managing hiring and termination processes, providing coaching and disciplinary actions as needed, and collaborating with the management team to implement and review policies. This role will also involve maintaining employee confidentiality, professionalism, and fairness in all interactions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Monitor HR compliance spreadsheet and update accordingly, notating employee certification expiration dates and ensuring renewal prior to expiration to remain compliant
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Develop and implement new policies in collaboration with the management team, clinical coordinator, and clinical director, ensuring alignment with Arizona Department of Health guidelines.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage workers compensation claims
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Monitor and maintain employee certifications and compliance records, including but not limited to: fingerprint clearance cards, TB tests, and first aid/CPR certifications, and new employee documents and training certifications in accordance with company and Arizona Department of Health requirements.
- Generate and manage bi-weekly employee schedules, ensuring coverage for all shifts and minimizing overtime, while also ensuring compliance with Arizona Department of Health staffing standards.
- Maintain both paper and electronic HR files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with Arizona Department of Health regulations.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy of employee data in HR systems
- Conduct background checks and verify certifications for all new hires, in adherence to Arizona Department of Health requirements.
- Provide support for other tasks and projects as needed.
- Report status of HR compliance bi-weekly with CEO and COO

- **Attention to Detail**: Ensure accuracy in processing and maintaining HR records.
- **Technological Proficiency**: Familiarity with HR software and tools for recruitment, payroll, analytics, and employee management.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Two forms of government identification.
- TB skin test within the last year (must obtain prior to hire).
- First aid and CPR certification (company can provide training and certification upon hiring).
- Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (must obtain prior to start date).
- Ability to pass a background check and urine drug screening upon hire.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
