**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and production of bakery items, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and baking goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and maintaining a clean dining area.
- Handle customer orders and transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling bakery items.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Adhere to proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure efficient production and timely completion of tasks.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products to customers.
- Basic culinary skills, including measuring ingredients and following recipes.
- Passion for the food industry and a genuine interest in baking.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
