Stewarding Manager

Mosaic Management, with a **prestigious brand new renovation**, is looking to hire a Stewarding Manager The new W Hotel will be synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and exceptional whatever, whenever hospitality. **What You'll Do**:

- Responsible for the deep cleaning and sanitizing of kitchens and ensuring all checklists and tasks are completed to the highest standard
- Ensure the breakage is kept to a minimum
- Efficiently coordinating service by organizing supplies in the appropriate location
- Ensuring and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards by ensuring furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to restaurant specifications
- Orders and manages necessary supplies. Ensuring workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
- Monitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials.
- Controls inventories of food, equipment, smallware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel.
- Investigates reports and follows-up on employee accidents.
- Enforces proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, floors, etc.
- Supervises assigned team and ensures work is performed correctly and efficiently
- Embody mission, vision, and values of the hotel/resort daily
- Fully understand chemicals and other hazardous supplies
- Assist and help banquet kitchen to plate up
- Execute all tasks of each steward position in the department
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Prior experience using Microsoft Office and general computer operations required
- 4+ years’ experience working in a hotel stewarding environment
- 2+ years’ experience managing a team
- 4+ years’ experience with dish washing machinery and equipment
- An understanding of chemical and paper product ordering
- Bilingual
- High level of reliability
- Flexible schedule required

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- management: 2 years (required)
- hotel steward: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
