Theater Instructor

United Academic League is looking to hire a passionate theater instructor to join our team. You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of students, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve outstanding results.

**Job Description**:

- Drama/Theater Instructors are responsible for planning and leading structured activities for students in grades elementary through high school
- Successfully lead activities with groups of up to 20 students
- Effectively manage the classroom and address student behavior issues in a positive, professional manner
- Communicate clearly and positively with students, co-workers, and supervisors

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of prior experience teaching or facilitating group activities with students;
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework in the areas of education, youth development, or drama preferred
- Available to work during all of the hours of the program, including nights and weekends

Salary to be discussed at interview

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $44.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
