**Security Guard**

A large not-for-profit organization in Newark is seeking an experienced unarmed security guard. The security guard must have a SORA license with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The security guard must be attentive, proactive, and capable of working independently and exercising good judgment. Additionally, the security guard must have the ability to interact successfully with people of all levels, inside and outside the organization.

Job Descriptions:
Protect property and lives by patrolling the area. Monitor entrance/exits of property. Identify visitors and guard against theft and maintain security. Respond to alarms and calls of distress.
- Provide assistance to all visitors, clients and employees
- Secure premises by patrolling property and permitting entry.
- Respond to calls for assistance, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards
- Controls traffic by directing drivers, pedestrians and children
- Answer alarm calls from Alarm Co.
- Work outdoors with exposure to inclement weather conditions.

**Requirements**:
Maintain SORA security license

Driver’s license

Pay Rate: $20.00 an hour

/Part-time Monday thru Friday

Various Hours: 7am-3pm, 3pm-6pm

Pay: $20.00 per hour
