Job Description:As a key member of the Army National Guard, the Interior Electrician plays a vital role in the operation of electrical systems within various facilities. This includes offices, repair shops, airplane hangars, and other buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and repair electrical hardware, including transformers, junction boxes, service panels, electrical boxes, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Ensure the safety of electrical work and systems using test meters.
- Inspect power distribution systems, shorts in wires, and faulty equipment.
- Fundamentals of electricity.
- Electrical circuit troubleshooting.
- Safety procedures.
- An interest in electricity, science, and math.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Preference for doing physical work.
