This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Develops, organizes and implements high quality YMCA program(s).

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CASE MANAGER - CHILDCARE WORKFORCE**
- Responsible for outreach and recruitment of program eligible youth to participate in the Childcare Workforce Development program.
- Screens and enrolls applicants and maintains case files for the program participants.
- Develops college and career blueprints that build capacity in the students in accordance with program guidelines.
- Conducts needs assessments for clients and coordinates referrals to appropriate agencies for supportive resources.
- Develops positive relationships with participants and provides motivational support and guidance.
- Ensures all grant records, case management files, program reports, and other required administrative procedures are accurate, detailed and completed according to established deadlines.
- Maintains confidentiality of records and client progress, exhibits maturity and professionalism at all times.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
- Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, including emergency procedures. Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.

**QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Education, Social Work or related field experience
- Ability to develop positive relationships with young adults/teens (age 16-24 years).
- Experience working within the childcare, education or youth development field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, staff, peers, volunteers and supervisor.
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
- Current certification CPR, First Aid or ability to attain within 30 days.
- Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to attain within 30 days.
- Experience with computers including word processing and database software.
